- Reasons for joining the Pageant:
- It has always been my mom’s dream for me to join Miss Chinese Vancouver Pageant, and it is a great opportunity now as I have completed graduate school.

- I think spending some quality time with my family would be the most beautiful because I do not get to see my family very often; it is always important for me to find a balance between my studies and time with them.

- Mother Teresa, because of her selfless dedication to the people in the world.

- My education background and language skills will help me excel the pageant, because I have more experience with interview and Q&A. Most importantly, my improvements and growth throughout the pageant will help me to stand out.

- I am an animal protector and a vegetarian for almost 5 years. If I can win this pageant, I hope to become an ambassador to encourage people to support animal protection.
