My cousin is an inspiration to me because she is the perfect combination of success, humility, athleticism, and tops it off with a great sense of humor.
Why do you think you will excel at this Pageant and be crowned Miss Chinese Vancouver:
I feel I have the most to learn from the Pageant experience and therefore I also bring a lot of my own diverse experience and abilities that makes me unique.
If you won this contest, how, as Miss Chinese Vancouver, would you contribute to society and the world:
Growing up I was not able to afford dance lessons or go far with piano but I was always able to be involved with sports at school, which has followed me into adulthood. I hope to use this platform to encourage young females to explore sports and hopefully find one or more to fall in love with because I believe in its positive effects on psychosocial development, community involvement, and health and fitness.
